With school holidays upon us and the long weekend approaching, you might find yourself struggling to find something to entertain the family.

If you’re looking for some ideas, here are 4 things you and the family can do this month in Brisbane.

1. Brisbane River Jazz Festival

If your family loves smooth jazz and live music, then book your spots now for the Brisbane River Jazz Festival.

Enjoy the quality acts on offer throughout the day, as well as food trucks, wine and beer pop-ups, plus some lawn games and entertainment for the kids.
A fun day out for the whole family.

2. The Notorious in Manly

Over the Easter weekend, take a trip to the other side of Brisbane and experience an authentic recreation of a caravel ship from 1480. Explore the entire ship and enjoy Manly beach, where there’s beautiful seafood restaurants, markets, and plenty of parks.

If your family enjoy a little dose of history, then this is the perfect way to spend your Easter weekend.

3. Hadron Collider Exhibition

For those interested in Science and the origins of life, there’s the Hadron Collider Exhibition in South Bank, re-creating the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator.

This award-winning exhibition has finally made its way to Brisbane, and has barely a month left before it moves on, so get it in quick. Explore one of the major scientific experiments the world has ever seen and learn more about the universe and life itself.

4. My Fair Lady

There’s nothing better in the rainy months than going to the theatre and enjoying a world class musical. The show features an incredible line up of amazing performers, and beautifully designed sets and costumes.

Take the whole family to see a classic musical that has witty dialogue and well renowned songs.
